The Eunos 300 had a two liter FE ZE DOHC engine making 150 PS with a manual transmission and 145 PS with the automatic, and to further its sporting pretensions it came with a front strut bar and a lower tie bar at the rear. Along with the Eunos Roadster, the Eunos 100 and the Eunos Cosmo of 1990, it formed the first Eunos brand lineup. The Eunos 300 was a rebodied Capella and 626 with more luxurious equipment. The Persona was replaced by the Efini MS-8 in March 1992.
