Since the demise of the Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon in 1990, the Colt was the only subcompact in the Dodge and Plymouth lineups. The Colt was a rebadged Mitsubishi Mirage manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors, sold as a three door hatchback in the United States, since the sedan bodywork was available to American consumers as an Eagle Summit. Power of the 1.5 liter 4G15 was up to 82 horsepower thanks to multi point fuel injection.
