Automobiles

A totally new front and rear fascia along with an interior redesign came for 1989, and the 2.5 liter engine gained balance shafts and an increase of power. The 2.3 liter LG0 Quad 4 was announced as being available late in the model year on Grand Am SE models, with only 200 built, and all of those 1989 Quad 4 cars were red on gray coupes with 16 inch machined face wheels. The 180 horsepower Quad 4 HO was the top engine.
