In January 1989 the better equipped, more passenger oriented four seat Minicab Estate van models were renamed the Minicab Bravo, and in April 1989 the NX and Bravo AX models were added, both with four wheel drive. The Minicab of 1989 was in its sixth year as the fourth generation, in the U10 series, a kei van and truck built in Japan and Taiwan and Indonesia. The estate models featured the first sliding sunroof in their class.
