1985 AMC Eagle

Automobiles

A new key fob activated infrared remote keyless system with power locks was newly available as an option for 1985. A digitally tuned AM and FM cassette radio with a built in power amplifier and four coaxial speakers was also introduced. The standard powertrain was now the previously optional five speed manual, and the AMC 258 inline six became standard. However, Eagle sales began to drop as AMC was no longer promoting the models, with advertising limited to dealer signage.
