The 1984 Honda Prelude was among the 1984 to 1987 base models that had Civic style full wheel covers. Canada created a Special Edition trim, which is basically the same car as the US 2.0Si, the sport injected model. Britain took to the second generation far more than to its predecessor, with strong sales at a time when interest in sports cars was falling, and the first European range comprised the base Prelude without power steering and the well equipped EX.
