1983 Honda XR Series

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The XR350R was introduced for the 1983 model year with a wet sump engine of 339 cc, and it was discontinued after the 1985 model year. Honda thoroughly revised the XR500R for 1983, with a new dry sump RFVC five speed engine, lighter and stronger than the old one at 41 hp, a completely revised frame and 43 mm air adjustable forks. For 1983 the XR250R was dropped from Honda's line-up, but it came back in 1984.
