A two door convertible Del Rey prototype was shown in 1982 but never reached production. The car was sold as a coupe, a sedan and the Scala three door wagon, with the Prata silver and Ouro gold versions as the basic and top of the range models. The Del Rey was a large family car that Ford built in Brazil, based on the Corcel II and sold under the Belina name as a wagon. It ran on either petrol or ethanol and was replaced by the Versailles, a Volkswagen Santana based car.
