For 1975 the Marquis became the only full size Mercury, including the Brougham and a Grand Marquis trim line above it. The front fascia saw several revisions, with a larger radiator style grille and a script above the left headlamp, and the rear fascia received padded vinyl trim. While Ford and Lincoln added B pillars to their two door sedans, Mercury retained its hardtop roofline. The 402 cubic inch 400 V8 was introduced.
