In August 1973, along with its 1500 and Dolomite siblings, the Triumph Toledo was the subject of the UK's largest vehicle recall to date. A heated rear window became standard equipment by late 1973 or early 1974, and the two door model, which had non wraparound bumpers, changed in 1973 to full wraparound bumpers. Triumph developed a Toledo TS two door in 1973. The recall affected the Toledo, 1500 and Dolomite.
