Slight alterations of the front grille, headlights and taillights followed in 1972 on the Coronet sedan and wagon. The Coronet was still a twin of the Plymouth Satellite four door, and the coupe market was served by the Charger. Dodge sold sedans and wagons only, since the two door intermediate had become the Charger, so the Coronet was a mid-size four door family car in the second year of the sixth generation.
