For 1969 the Mark II range received subtle revisions: separate FORD block letters on the bonnet and boot lids, a blacked out grille and chrome strips above and below the taillights running the full width of the tail panel. It was the last full year of the second generation, which gave way to the Mark III in October 1970, and it continued to be offered in the same saloon and estate bodies and in the same trims.
