The Mark II Mini was launched at the 1967 British Motor Show, with a redesigned grille, a larger rear window and numerous cosmetic changes, and the Morris Mini-Minor of the Mark II followed the earlier car. The Mini was still a two door four seat small car, built in England at Longbridge and Cowley and also in Australia, and soon to be built in Spain. It was the first year of the second series, with its new rear window.
