Following a minor grille update for the 1967 model year, the Country Squire retained the 119 inch wheelbase and its double wishbone, ball jointed A arm front suspension with a widened front track. For 1967 only a floor shifted 4 speed manual was offered for the Country Squire, only with the 390 and 428 V8 engines. A new standard engine, a 240 cubic inch Big Six inline six producing 150 horsepower, had replaced the Mileage Maker six.
