In September 1965 the Wolseley 1100 four door saloon and the Riley Kestrel four door saloon were introduced in the United Kingdom, both mechanically similar to the MG 1100. The Wolseley had a strip speedometer in a wooden fascia as per the MG, while the Riley Kestrel had three round dials including a rev counter in a wooden fascia. Both were offered with leather seats as standard. The Wolseley was a small luxury saloon.
