In 1964 the suspension of the Mini was replaced by another Moulton design, the Hydrolastic system, in the Morris as in the Austin. The Mini Cooper S won the Monte Carlo Rally that year and again in 1965 and 1967. The Mini Moke, a jeep like buggy, joined the family, and the Morris Mini-Minor of 1964 continued to be built at Longbridge and Cowley. The suspension change improved the ride of the Morris Mini-Minor.
