The first Cortina was revised for 1964, and advertising at the London Motor Show in October 1964 made much of the newly introduced Aeroflow through flow ventilation, shown by extractor vents on the rear pillars. This is the Mark 1b revision with a redesigned front grille and more rectangular side light and indicator units. In Australia, Ian Geoghegan won the 1964 Australian Touring Car Championship driving a Cortina GT.
