1961 Morris Mini-Minor

Automobiles

In 1961 the Morris Mini-Minor name continued, while Austin's Seven was rebranded as the Austin Mini. The Wolseley Hornet and Riley Elf, more luxurious Minis, were released that year, and in October 1961 the fuel tank of the estate models was relocated to the underneath of the car, with the filler cap moved low down on the right hand side, as on the Mini Van. The year also saw the performance Mini Cooper arrive in the Morris range.
