Starting with 1960, all Chrysler models adopted the grille appearance of the Chrysler 300F, and the rear bucket seats from the 300 models were optional on the New Yorker Custom coupe. The unit body was a major change for the model, which had been built on a separate frame in the Forward Look years of 1957 to 1959.
