The Citation was the flagship Edsel for 1958 only, offered as two and four door hardtops and a two door convertible, and 8,574 were built, of which 930 were convertibles, making the Citation convertible the second rarest 1958 Edsel after the nine passenger Bermuda wagon. It had the most exterior stainless steel trim, a gold anodized aluminum cove panel, and the 410 cubic inch MEL V8 of 345 horsepower with Teletouch transmission buttons in the steering wheel hub.
