The 7W Ten body style, available in both two and four door forms, was the first on a small English Ford with an externally accessed luggage compartment, and it was the precursor of the first model to carry the Prefect badge. The 7W Ten ended in 1938, replaced by the Prefect. The 7W Ten was a small British Ford of the late 1930s, an updated Model C Ten with a stiffer chassis. It was built by Ford UK and led to the first Prefect.
