1936 Rover 14

Automobiles

From the summer of 1936 Rover customers wishing to combine the virtues of the Fourteen with better performance could opt for the Rover 16, which combined the same body with a larger engine. The standard four door saloon of the Fourteen was tested in April 1937 with a wheelbase 3 inches longer than before. The Fourteen P1 was in its fourth year in 1936 and continued alongside the new Sixteen. The Sixteen was the larger engined version of the same body.
