1927 Ford Model AA

Automobiles

Henry Ford began the initial designs of the Model A and the Model AA in 1926, as the Model T and the TT became obsolete and needed replacing. The chassis layout of the Model AA was done quickly and its mechanical development moved forward fast, and bodies were farmed out to outside firms such as Briggs and Murray. Ford built it from 1927, and the Soviet GAZ built a very large number of copies. The Model AA was Ford's truck companion to the Model A car, with a heavier chassis and a four speed gearbox for loaded work.
