1925 Lincoln L series

Automobiles

The 1925 L series is identified by the absence of cowl lights, and front and rear bumpers became standard. The smallest L series was the two door, two passenger roadster. The 60 degree L head V8 used a novel approach called fork and blade for the connecting rods, so that two rods shared one bearing on the crankshaft, allowing a short crankshaft and a smaller overall engine size while still displacing 357.8 cubic inches. It was the first automobile of the Lincoln Motor Company.
