Mazda Titan fifth generation

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The fifth-generation Mazda Titan was introduced in June 2004 and was an OEM-supplied Isuzu Elf, the first Titan of 1.5 to 4 tonnes not developed by Mazda. The previous generation had been the last 1.5 to 4 tonne truck Mazda developed itself and had an unusually short production run of only four years, where a truck's life on the Japanese market is usually about ten. The lighter one-tonne Titan Dash of the previous generation continued to be built alongside the new model. The Isuzu-built truck offered three diesel options of 3.1 litres, 4.8 litres and 4.8 litres turbocharged, as well as LPG and CNG engines, and four-wheel-drive versions and crew cabs were available.
