The Hino Le Series is the battery-electric medium-duty truck that Hino Trucks presents for fleets that want a zero-emission option, offered in 25,950 pound (L6e) and 33,000 pound (L7e) gross vehicle weight rating configurations. Hino's U.S. site says it uses a 269 kWh Hexagon Purus ProPack battery system and an Accelera 14Xe Gen 4.5 e-Axle that produce up to 260 kW (348 hp), and that DC fast charging can bring the battery from 0 to 80 percent in about 1.8 hours. It is built on the platform of the diesel L Series, sharing its 2,385 square inch windshield and offering the same style of collision mitigation and lane departure warning systems, with programmable regenerative braking. The page describes it as launching in the third quarter of 2026.
