Hino L Series

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Hino L Series is the range of Class 6 and Class 7 medium-duty trucks that Hino Trucks sells in the United States, aimed at work from pickup and delivery to specialised vocational bodies. Hino's U.S. site lists day cab and extended cab configurations with several wheelbase options, the extended cab seating up to four people. The Cummins B6.7L engine is rated at 240 to 260 horsepower and is paired with a six speed Allison automatic transmission, on Meritor axles and a standard 80,000 PSI frame, with a 120,000 PSI frame optional on the L7 only. Hino fits a 2,385 square inch windshield, and its safety suite on air brake chassis includes a radar based collision mitigation system with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, antilock brakes, traction control and electronic stability control.
