Hino 600

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Hino 600 is a conventional-cab, medium-duty truck that Hino has built in the United States since 2004. Its nameplates, 145, 165, 185, 238, 258, 268, 308, 338 and 358, cover models from Class 4 light-duty trucks up to Class 7 heavy-duty trucks. It was introduced for the American market in 2004 and for Canada in 2005, replacing the cabover F-Series that was based on the Hino Ranger, and a facelifted version followed in 2007. The Class 4 and 5 models were replaced in 2012 by the Hino Dutro-based 155 and 195. For the 2021 model year the truck was renamed the L Series, with new headlamps, a redesigned bumper and a revised interior, and for the 2022 model year Hino switched from its own J08E diesel engine to a Cummins B6.7.
