The Datsun Sunny Cab, later also sold as the Nissan Cherry Cab, was a cab-over light commercial vehicle that Nissan introduced on 20 August 1969 as a variant of the Datsun Sunny (B10 series). It was the first Nissan cab-over built on Sunny components, with a 1,000 cc A10 engine under the front seats driving the rear wheels, and it was offered as a 600 kg two-seat truck, a 500 kg light van and route van, and an eight-seat coach. Its sliding rear door, with the handle placed toward the rear pillar, was a distinctive feature. In September 1970 it was renamed the Nissan Cherry Cab for the new Cherry dealer channel, and in January 1975 the Sunny Cab name returned alongside a sister car with a different grille. Production ended in October 1978, and it was succeeded by the Sunny Vanette and Cherry Vanette.
