CMC ET35

The CMC ET35 is a 3.5 tonne battery electric commercial vehicle built by the Taiwanese automaker China Motor Corporation at its Hsinchu plant. Production was launched at a press event on 22 August 2025, and Taiwanese reports describe it as the first mass produced electric commercial vehicle made in Taiwan, developed by CMC with domestic research institutes and suppliers so that more than nine tenths of its components are sourced locally. It is offered as a chassis cab and as a wooden bed truck, with a three seat cab, a 2,985 millimetre wheelbase and a cargo bed of about 3.36 by 1.87 metres. An integrated electric rear axle delivers 130 kilowatts and 300 newton metres, a lithium iron phosphate battery gives a quoted range of 360 kilometres on the NEDC cycle, and Level 2 driver assistance is fitted. The truck is assembled on the existing commercial vehicle line at Hsinchu.
