The Berliet GR and TR were a family of heavy trucks, the GR a rigid truck and the TR a tractor unit, built by Berliet in two generations. The first appeared in 1961 as the GRK10 with the fixed Relaxe cab and a 9.5 litre diesel inline six built under licence from MAN, and a 12 litre engine followed in 1964. The second generation, with the square tilting KB 2400 cab, was shown at the 1970 Paris Salon, with straight six diesels and a V8 of up to 14.9 litres. The early TR300 proved unreliable and was replaced by the TR320 in 1972. From late 1978 some were also sold with Saviem badges, and in 1980 the range gave way to the Renault R-series, which used the same cab.
