The second-generation Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter, also called the Full-Com Fighter, was introduced in July 1992 with projector headlights that were later added to the facelifted The Great, and with twin rectangular headlights in export markets. Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan appeared in its commercials under the slogan Exciting Handsome. Updates for the 1994 emissions rules in April 1995 earned it the nickname Powerful-Com Fighter, alongside the lightweight SL model; the December 1996 FK-Z carried 7.5 tons and the FL-X had a low floor with full-time all-wheel drive; and the short-cab Fighter NX was added in 1998. The first facelift, the New Fighter of 14 April 1999, took the design of the Super Great and the 6M60 and 6M61 engines; the second, the Best One Fighter of October 2005, moved the headlights into the bumper. Daimler BlueTEC engines followed in June 2010, and the generation ended in 2026.
