Freight and Logistics Networks

Companies and organizations whose core business is coordinating freight movement across modes rather than directly operating vehicles within one mode: freight forwarders, express delivery networks and intermodal logistics operators. Belongs here: any named freight or logistics organization whose significance is chiefly as a coordinating network rather than as a single-mode carrier. Does not belong here: a company that mainly operates its own vehicles within one mode, tracked under the mode-specific carrier and operator buckets above.
