Networks and Operators

Networks and Operators groups the companies, agencies and named services that actually move people and goods or regulate the industry that does: railway and rail transit operators, airlines, shipping lines, road and overland carriers, vehicle and equipment manufacturers, regulatory and industry bodies, and luxury and specialty service operators. This category holds organizations and named commercial services rather than the vehicles they run or the infrastructure they use. It excludes the vehicles themselves, which belong under Vehicles, the physical infrastructure a network runs over, which belongs under Infrastructure, and the individual people who founded or led a network, who belong under Figures.
