Honda manufactured the CBR1000F Hurricane, a sport touring motorcycle of the CBR series, in the United States from 1987 to 1996 and in the rest of the world from 1987 to 1999. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, DOHC, 998 cc, 16-valve inline-four engine. The CBR1000F, along with the CBR750F and CBR600F, was Honda's first inline four-cylinder, fully faired sport bike. In its life it went through only three major revisions, in 1989, 1992 and later minor touring changes. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 3 generations: the 1987 to 1988 (1987 to 1988 model years); the 1989 to 1991 (1989 to 1991 model years); the 1992 to 1999 (1992 to 1999 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
