Honda CBR1000F (1992 to 1999)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda overhauled the looks of the CBR1000F in 1992 with bodywork that was more streamlined and modern, and the biggest change was DCBS, Honda's dual combined braking system, which came from an RCB1000 world endurance race bike of the 1970s. Honda's first street motorcycle with a combined braking system, then called Unified Braking, was the 1983 Gold Wing GL1100. No major changes were made after 1992, and a touring model was briefly launched with a larger screen and hard panniers. The model was discontinued in the US from 1996 and ended in late 1999 elsewhere. Each model year has its own page.
