1996 Honda CBR900RR

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The third generation brought major changes to the CBR900RR in 1996. Honda revised the suspension and chassis to get the best rigidity, with larger, thinner walled extrusions for more torsional rigidity in the swingarm and frame, revised internals in the shock and fork and a swingarm pivot raised by 5 mm. The handlebars rose 10 mm and swept back five degrees, and a bore increase of 1 mm lifted displacement to 919 cc.
