1982 Honda Gold Wing

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

For 1982 every Gold Wing had its transmission ratios revised once more, to lower engine rpm at cruising speed, along with brakes with two pistons per caliper and wider tires on smaller wheels. Honda offered three Gold Wing models from 1982, and the Aspencade (GL1100A) lifted the full dress touring bike to a new level of luxury, with a larger seat, two tone paint and more storage compartments. The Interstate for 1982 offered more equipment: a new stereo, a CB transceiver with 40 channels and a compressor on board to adjust suspension air pressure.
