Honda produces the Africa Twin, a dual sport motorcycle, in several models: the XRV650 between 1988 and 1989, the XRV750T between 1990 and 2000, the CRF1000L between 2016 and 2019 and the CRF1100L since 2020. The XRV750 Africa Twin is a 742 cc dual-sport motorcycle based on the NXR-750, which won the Paris-Dakar rally four times in the late 1980s. The CRF1000L revived the line, becoming available in the UK in late 2015 and in the US in early 2016. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 4 generations: the XRV650 (1988 to 1989 model years); the XRV750T (1990 to 2003 model years); the CRF1000L (2016 to 2019 model years); the CRF1100L (2020 model year onward). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
