1981 Honda XL250

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The XL250S of 1981 was the last to have the 23 inch front wheel, twin rear shocks and 6 volt electrical system that were unique to it. The rear brakes were upgraded and sat in a larger hub, the clutch of five plates was modified, and the Australian and continental variants had handsome gauges for speed and engine revolutions. This page belongs to the Honda XL250 (1972 to 1981), 1972 to 1981 model years; the generation page and the Honda XL250 model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
