Honda ended the Life series in October 1974, together with the Z360 and Z600, since the kei class was shrinking and emissions standards were becoming ever stricter. This ended Honda kei passenger car participation until the 1985 arrival of the Today. The Life Step Van ended in 1974 after 17,165 vehicles had been built, and the Life Pickup also ended in 1974, having reached no more than 1,132 vehicles.
