The Toledo is the compact car made in Britain by British Leylands Rover Triumph division between 1970 and 1976, introduced in August 1970 as a cheaper and more basic version of the Triumph 1300, which was at the same time replaced by the Triumph 1500, but with conventional rear wheel drive. A four door model came in 1971, and the Dolomite 1300 and 1500 replaced the Toledo in March 1976. In August 1973 it was the subject of the UK's largest vehicle recall to that date. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1970 to 1976).
