Rover 12

Automobiles

Rover used the 12 name for several medium sized family cars between 1905 and 1948: the four cylinder 10-12 of 1905, a two cylinder 12 and a Knight sleeve valve one around 1910, the four cylinder Clegg 12 of 1912 that sold about 13,000 before becoming the 14, the six cylinder Pilot twelve of 1931, and the 1933 New Deal twelve built until after the Second World War. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 5 generations: the 10-12 (1905 to 1907); the Two-cylinder and sleeve-valve 12 (1909 to 1912); the Clegg 12 (1912 to 1924); the Pilot twelve (1931 to 1933); the New Deal Twelve (1933 to 1948).
