BMW 02 Series

The 02 Series is the range of sporty compact executive cars that BMW built from 1966 to 1977 on a cut down New Class platform, led by the 1600-2 in 1966 and the 2002 in 1968, the car that established BMW's reputation for high quality affordable performance. It also included a Touring hatchback from 1971, the 1802, the 1502 economy model, and the turbocharged 2002 turbo.
