The 2010 model year was a quiet one. The Civic Si saw no significant changes, except for a black engine cover in place of the silver one. The Civic Hybrid, along with 2009 models, later drew a high rate of battery failure reports in a 2014 Consumer Reports survey, and in 2015 Honda extended the IMA battery warranty on 2009 to 2011 Civic Hybrids to 10 years or 150,000 miles. In August 2010 a replacement hybrid battery retailed at about 2,100 dollars.
