Rover 800 series

Automobiles

The 800 series is the executive car that Rover developed with Honda under the codename XX, close kin of the Honda and Acura Legend, which took the place of the decade old Rover SD1 on 10 July 1986. It was also sold as the Sterling in the United States. The Mark I ran to 1991, the R17 reskinned Mark II followed in November 1991 and became Britain's best selling executive car, and a two door coupe came in 1992. The Rover 75 replaced it in 1999. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the Mark I (1986 to 1991); the Mark II (1991 to 1999).
