The i4 is BMW's battery electric compact executive car, a five door liftback marketed as a four door coupe and based on the 4 Series Gran Coupe. It is the fifth model of the BMW i sub-brand, previewed by the i Vision Dynamics concept of 2017, and it includes the first battery electric car from BMW's motorsport division, the i4 M50. It is built in Munich on the same assembly line as combustion and plug in hybrid cars. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the G26 (2021 to 2026).
