The 3200 CS was a V8 coupe designed by Bertone, shown at the 1961 Frankfurt show and built by BMW from January 1962 to September 1965, with more than five hundred made. It was the last of BMW's early postwar luxury cars, with a pushrod engine, perimeter frame and solid rear axle, but it was the first BMW with the Hofmeister kink, and its low beltline and slim pillars set the pattern for later BMW coupes. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the 3200 CS (1962 to 1965).
