Canadian CX hatchbacks added a rear wiper and washer as standard, the Canadian LX Special Edition sedan was offered in 1994 and 1995, and the generation ended in Pakistan, where it had been produced until December 1995 with 6,480 units built there. The sixth generation made its debut in 1995 and took the Car of the Year Japan Award, the nameplate's third victory.
