Honda stopped making the S800 in May 1970, after 11,536 had been built. Honda built no other roadster in its S line for nearly thirty years, until the S2000 appeared for the 2000 model year. The S800 had competed with the Austin-Healey Sprite, MG Midget, Triumph Spitfire, Datsun Fairlady and Fiat 850 Spider. This page belongs to the Honda S800 (single generation), 1966 to 1970 model years; the generation page and the Honda S800 model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
